Here are some things to keep in mind when buying a 24-inch monitor

The 24-inch monitor has a diagonal of 61 centimetres. If you have a desktop computer, you need a monitor to display images. However, if you have a laptop, you can also use a 24-inch monitor as an additional monitor. You’ll then be comfortable watching videos and using specific applications like graphics or music creation software. The 24-inch screen is a must-have device for all gamers. When choosing a 24-inch monitor, consider the following criteria:

Panel type:

TN, VA or IPS. The TN panel is ideal for gaming fast and cheap, but its viewing angles and contrast are limited. VA technology provides better colour representation, wider viewing angles and excellent contrast. However, its response time is limited, which creates problems for displaying games. The IPS panel is a good compromise between VA and TN.

Resolution:

The resolution (or definition) matches the precision of the image. Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) is now the minimum. The definitions of 2K (2560 × 1440 W QHD) and 4K (3840 × 2160 UHD) are increasingly popular. However, your computer’s graphics card must be able to support these high resolutions. Otherwise, the screen will display a lower resolution.

Frequency:

Published in Hertz, the frequency must be at least 60 Hz. The higher it is, the slower the animation. Some models have now reached 240 Hz.

Variable Frequency:

This allows the screen to be attached to the frame rate delivered via the graphics card for better animations’ fluidity. There are two technologies: G-Sync and FreeSync. Freezing is cheaper than G-Sync.

Connectivity:

Go to a screen with DisplayPort and HDMI port. If you want to connect the disk to a Mac, you need to have a Thunderbolt port on your display. Otherwise, you need to bring an adapter.
